Here's a summary of responsibilities:

Provides construction field observation and oversight as needed for projects. Manages small maintenance and renovation projects including signage and graphic installations. Assists Project’s Team with quotes, project supervision and coordination. Standardize and maintain all USOPC signage.

Prior experience or willingness to learn AutoCAD, Revit and Bluebeam to support the Project’s Team in maintaining all technical drawings for USOPC buildings and leased properties. File all hard copy and electronic drawings per USOPC standards.

Here's how you'll have an impact:

  • Construction Field Observation and Oversight: Provide on-site observation of construction projects on behalf of the organization. Ensure on-site observation of construction and comparison to the design documents. Confer with supervisory and engineering personnel and contractor to resolve construction problems. Review work progress to ensure that procedures are followed, and materials used conform to specifications. Examine workmanship of finished installations for conformity to standard and approves installation.
  • Project Management and Project Assistance: Manage small maintenance, signage, furniture, and graphics projects. Walk contractors through buildings for verifications. Minor on-site supervision. Assist Project Manager on larger projects, when needed. Obtain quotes, develop schedules, track invoices, and communicate with all parties impacted by the project.
  • Office and Furniture Standards: Manage small office and furniture moves, adds and changes.
  • Drawings: Learn and update electronic drawings: building floor plans, life safety, and evacuation plans. Field verifies existing conditions. Upload drawing changes onto CAD, Revit and Bluebeam. Ensure all electronic and hard copy drawings are filed appropriately and available for use by contractor and USOPC staff.
  • Standards: Maintain existing drawings and new construction drawings on Bluebeam. Support the Project’s Team with the development and maintenance of a standard filing system for drawings. Create Bluebeam hyperlinks on construction documents for ease of access. Develop a “check-in/ check-out” process for hard copy drawings. Standardize and maintain signage for all USOPC properties.
  • Staff Support: Assist facility technicians and staff with locating drawings, project information and Bluebeam assistance. Assist with project documentation.
  • Cost Accounting: Track project costs.
  • Communication: Must be an effective communicator both orally and written as this position requires frequent interaction with people from all USOPC Divisions, NGBs, consultants, contractors and the general public.
  • Computer Systems: Must be proficient in CAD and Revit, Preferably Bluebeam. Utilize computer programs such as: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency.
  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Construction related certifications.

  • This is a hybrid role that will regularly work from both our Colorado Springs Downtown Headquarters and remotely.
  • This is a hub-based role that will regularly work from the Colorado Springs Olympic and Paralympic Training Center

Here's some more information you need to know:

  • Hiring Pay Range: $25.63 - $30.12
  • This is a full-time, non-exempt, position intended to work 40 hours per week.
  • Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program at a 5% target. This program is subject to change or elimination by the USOPC at any time at its sole discretion.
