Resumen del Trabajo
Trabaja en obras de construcción realizando tareas como demolición, colocación de concreto, instalación de pisos y ventanas, y construcción de diversas estructuras.
Responsabilidades Generales
Lee planos, instrucciones o especificaciones para determinar las actividades de trabajo.
Mide, marca o registra aberturas o distancias a las áreas de diseño donde se realizarán los trabajos de construcción.
Indica a los operadores de equipos de construcción para facilitar la alineación, el movimiento y el ajuste de la maquinaria.
Mezcla, vierte, extiende, alisa y da acabado al concreto o cemento.
Monta o desmonta andamios, apuntalamientos, tirantes, barreras de tráfico, rampas u otras estructuras temporales.
Rocía materiales como agua, vapor, pintura o estuco con una manguera para limpiar, recubrir o sellar superficies.
Aplica compuestos de calafateo a mano o con pistola para sellar grietas.
Esmerila, lija o pule superficies como concreto, mármol, terrazo o pisos de madera. Demuele edificios, serra madera, desmonta encofrados, retira salientes del hormigón, monta soportes para tuberías y corta y fija material aislante.

Requisitos del puesto
Educación: Bachillerato o equivalente
Experiencia: De unos meses a un año de experiencia relacionada

Job Summary
Works at construction sites performing tasks such as demolition, laying concrete, installing floors and windows, and building various structures.
General Accountabilities
Reads plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities.
Measures, marks, or records openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed.
Signals construction equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery.
Mixes, pours, spreads, smoothen and finishes concrete or cement.
Erects or dismantles scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, or other temporary structures.
Sprays materials such as water, steam, paint, or stucco through hose to clean, coat, or seal surfaces.
Applies caulking compounds by hand or with caulking gun to seal crevices.
Grinds, sands, or polishes surfaces such as concrete, marble, terrazzo, or wood flooring.
Demolishes buildings, saws lumber, dismantles forms, removes projections from concrete, mounts pipe hangers, and cuts and attaches insulating material.

Job Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: A few months to one year of related experience
