Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Dyslexia Interventionist located in Manor, Texas, supporting K-12 students with a focus on elementary and middle school age groups. This contract role involves a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week during the current school year.

Ideal candidates must hold certification in Reading by Design and have experience working with dyslexia interventions. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not required. The role involves working closely with students who require specialized reading support, tailoring interventions to meet their needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing students reading skills and developing individualized intervention plans
  • Implementing evidence-based dyslexia strategies and programs
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting instruction accordingly
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to support student success
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation for each student on caseload

Qualifications:

  • Certification in Reading by Design (required)
  • Experience as a Special Education Teacher or Dyslexia Interventionist
  • Bilingual Spanish skills preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
