We are seeking a Full Time - Pharmacy Technician to be a member of our team. You will assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist. Seeking a motivated and experienced retail pharmacy technician for an independent pharmacy located in Orange County next to Fashion Island who is able to multi-task and adapt well in the pharmacy environment. Must also be willing to learn compounding of medications. Monthly bonus incentives available for qualified technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patients
• Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders
• Process prescriptions using computer software
• Label and record dosage information
• Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
• Compounding
• Merchandising products
• Check In & Check-Out of prescriptions

​ Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years work experience in a pharmacy
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail & organizational skills
• Ability to multitask, and know how to prioritize in a constantly changing environment
• Communicates clearly and effectively
• Excellent customer service skills & must work well with others
• Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician by the California State Board of Pharmacy
• Compounding experience a PLUS but will train

Full-Time opening. Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Occasional Saturdays.

No Holidays. Health Benefits and additional Bonus Incentives.
